I am fortunate enough to gain recognition across various platforms over the years as I have been working as a visual artist. Some of my proudest moments include winning the Curaçao International Film Festival for 2 years in a row in both 2015 and 2016 for my short documentary “Press on Marely” and “Layo”. On the list of my achievements is also winning the play “Go Emerge competition” in 2021. My film “Tahit” won Best Drama, Best Film, and Audience awards in more than 120 submissions across the Caribbean region.
